Curly Depths 
Western maple, curly silver maple, narra 
2022The impetus for this cabinet was the undulating curve of thefront. Harmoniously pairing this ‘S’ curve with the stepped top became a challenge both technically, while doweling and establishing a hierarchy of reveals, and aesthetically, to carry a visual continuity between the convex and concave features. A few other notable parts are the concave dovetailed drawers with integrated carved pulls, curved frame and panel doors, and the slightly curved sides of the cabinet.
